The Boeing 737-800 plane crashed shortly after take off from Tehran’s Imam Khomeini International Airport early Wednesday morning local time.There were 82 Iranian citizens and 63 Canadians on board, with 11 Ukrainians, and citizens from Sweden, Afghanistan, Germany, and the UK also killed, according to Ukraine’s foreign minister.
In a tweet sent around 8.10 a.m. GMT , Prystaiko confirmed the nationalities of those on board the flight, which was heading from Tehran’s Imam Khomeini International Airport to Ukraine’s capital Kiev.„We express our condolences. The Ukrainian authorities continue to investigate,“82 Iranian citizens.
