The semifinal will take place on Sunday, August 20, and the final is scheduled for Wednesday, August 23 at 3:15 p.m. ET.The men’s steeplechase is another world record that fell earlier this year and could be improved upon again at the World Championships. At the Paris Diamond League meet in June,of Ethiopia stunned the crowd with a 7:52.11 world record. As a result, he beat the previous 7:53.
