Insider spoke with the world's largest staffing firms on hybrid working and the richer world's Great Resignation. Decisions shouldn't be one size fits all but based on the needs of employees and the company. The world's top staffing firms — the Adecco Group and ManpowerGroup — have warned against the risk of generalising hybrid work.

He said hybrid working — splitting working hours between home and the office — shouldn't be confused with flexibility."Flexibility is really about how I can manage my task and my mission in a flexible way? Hybrid model is really about work-life balance and well-being, and these are two different topics," Barberis told Insider in Davos.

Coram Williams, the chief financial officer and chief economist at the Adecco Group, told Insider he prefers to talk about it as the Great Reevaluation. Williams told Insider that it is difficult to generalise hybrid work and that companies have to look at a number of factors when deciding what's best for them.
