"There really weren't a lot of jobs out there for kids. Now, you have Main Events, you have Top Golf, a lot of restaurants," McGowan said."A lot of competition is out there." "I see my closest friends just because we spend so much time together during the summer," Fenner said."There's nothing quite like it."
"It's cool to see that generational development," Fenner said."The longer I've stuck around my mindset has shifted from, 'I enjoy being here with my friends,' to 'I enjoy being the person that mentors these kids and sees them grow through the ranks.'" Wages were raised by around a dollar an hour to $11.75-$14.00 an hour. The township now pays for both uniforms and training as well.
