We chat with TheWheelofTime star Josha Stradowski about Rand al’Thor’s continued journey in season 2 of the PrimeVideo series and which item he stole from set:

While the show’s first season essentially adapted the first book in the series, The Eye of the World, The Wheel of Time season 2 will borrow from books two and three .
Josha Stradowski: For me, it was unexpected as well. When I got the script, I was like, “Wow.” I was really loving it, and also looking for ways how we can even go further. For example, his hair. He’s trying to disguise himself. He left his friends behind, they think he's dead, and he's trying to live a new life. [He’s] trying to hide who is and where he's from, and at the same time leave the past behind. So, literally, shave off your hair; sacrifice it.
Josha Stradowski: We do talk before, and I have read all the books. Also, because I love having those conversations with Rafe and the writers. We definitely talk. Like you said, there are similarities, but there are also differences, and to try to figure out why the similarities and differences are there is a lot of fun. And just as an actor, to have so much material... [It's] just so rich. It’s just so inspiring. There are so many ideas you can take away from it.
