Police at the scene in North Rigton after a body was found. Though formal identification is yet to take place, North Yorkshire Police believe it to be Judith Holliday.CCTV cameras captured Judith leaving her care home in Harcourt Road at 10:32 am.Judith Holliday went missing from her care home in Harrogate. Her body has since been found and her family have been informed.A police drone was used to allow officers to search large open areas around the Harrogate area.
“I would urge members of the public, in particular people in the Harrogate and Wetherby areas, to remain vigilant and report any sightings to police immediately.”North Yorkshire Police grew increasingly concerned for the welfare of Judith after a week passes since she dissapeared. Police said they believed that Judith left Harrogate by bus, and then flagged down a member of the public and asked for a lift to North Rigton.Critical Incident Inspector Louise Pegg said: “We are extremely concerned for the welfare of Judith as she has now been missing for nearly a week.“Judith’s family are doing everything they can to help locate Judith and officers are supporting them as we continue to try and locater her.
