The business has been sweeping up awards this year 🏆
at the ‘Curry Oscars’, was founded by Chef Ajay Kumar who opened the spot as he wanted to create a"modern menu" with a twist.
"We restarted doing takeaways after one year of being completely shut down, it was mainly the heat and eat home kit, but the focus was on quality and that actually was received very well in Glasgow so there were weekends we were doing good numbers of takeaways and then after a while we also had to do hot"After 18 months we were able to open the doors and then that was it, once we were allowed to reopen it was okay, I knew we were fine now, we’ve made it.
Despite its rocky start, the restaurant fully reopened in 2021, and this year alone it has won a total of six awards, including Best Fine Dining Restaurant at the Prestige Awards, Best Indian Establishment at the Food Awards Scotland, and Scotland’s Best Indian Restaurant at the Scottish Entertainment & Hospitality Awards.
"One is yes it feels really good because after Covid it’s great that the hard work we are putting into the business and the whole team has been recognised and everybody looks for that kind of motivation, so it feels great.
