The Space Centre is Ashton-on-Ribble is hosting an accessible Halloween fundraiser 🕷️🕸️🦇🎃 SpacePreston
is the largest multi-sensory centre in the UK and has been providing support to those with additional needs for the last 30 years.
The Space Centre’s Laurie said: “To make the event as accessible as possible, half of the sessions will be for those with additional needs and their immediate families only. “This allows us to take into consideration any issues such as volume and lighting, and likes, such as deep pressure and surrounding control, and adapt the sessions to meet the needs of the individuals.”Preston woman releases inspiring collection of children’s books on disabilities and differences
Wheelchair users can also experience the Halloween magic, with full hoisting available throughout the rooms. The toilets, café and garden are also fully accessible. Laurie added: “We know that for some families it can be challenging to find appropriate and accessible Halloween activities, so we hope to fill that gap for as many people as possible.”
