Three Fish and Chip shops from across Scotland - in Aberdeenshire, Largs and Dumfries - were named in the top 40
The National Fish and Chip Awards has announced the top 40 entries for the Fish and Chip Takeaway of the Year category – with several top Scottish chippies making the list.
Each location was judged on criteria including customer service, and environmental and sustainably good practices. Commenting on the top 40 shortlist, President at The National Federation of Fish Friers, Andrew Crook, said: “Being able to announce the top 40 finalists for this category is an absolute pleasure. It is no secret that the industry are facing some challenges.
