Popular radio and TV personality Ngizwe Mchunu opened up about being fired from Ukhozi FM in an interview with MacG and Sol Phenduka.
Controversial media personality Ngizwe Mchunu has claimed that his former employer, the South African Broadcasting Corporation , owes him money.
According to the publication, he was also found to have breached the station’s policy in 2017 when he announced on air that Ukhozi FM would broadcast live at Mroza Fakude’s victory party before it was approved.on SABC1) denied the reports about his departure. Mchunu went on to reiterate that the stories allegedly created by his former employer did not make sense.“They then decided not to renew my contract. As you know, we were freelancers… they still owe me R400 000 at the SABC. I still have not received that money, that’s how cruel they are,” he said.Their war-of-words started in November last year, during a press briefing, when Mchunu “barred” Malema from launching the EFF’s manifesto in KZN.
“They told me he is an artist or something. I don’t care what he thinks of me. He is the smallest boy ever. But even if I see him tomorrow, I will embrace him like any other African kid. I have no problem with him whatsoever.”
