The next Mercedes CLA will go electric or ICE
The new Mercedes CLA will come with a choice of electric or combustion powertrains – and you’re looking at a prototype of the former. Our spy photographers snapped thetesting months before its full reveal, and even with the camouflage we can draw some conclusions.
Reduced camouflage means it’s possible to see new production lights peeping out the camo, and we can also see the rough design of the rest of the car. At the rear, we can also see the final production lights of the forthcoming CLA, and they’re similar to those on theLike it or not, the Mercedes CLA is heavily riffing on the streamlined, efficient look of the electric Mercedes EQ series.
