'The Next Khune Can Be Found At Engen'
Renowned agent Thato Matuka has hailed the Engen Knockout Challenge as a perfect platform for scouting where the next generation of stars can be unearthed.
With the tournament reaching its business end, the young startlets from Kaizer Chiefs, Mamelodi Sundowns, Randburg AFC, University of Pretoria, Highlands Park, TS Galaxy, Wits University and Kathorus Academy shone brightly in the quarter final stage. "I think for me, we always look for platforms where talent is nurtured, so the Engen Tournament is one of the platforms that we need. I mean we've been crying out loud for school football, which is not really well structured, so platforms like Engen is structured so it helps us to come and scout for talent," Matuka told the Siya crew.
