Of course, when James ominously refers to “important investigations and cases,” she could be referring to Cuomo, whose use of public resources for writing and promoting his pandemic book she is reportedly looking into. But there's also a nonzero chance—and probably much higher than that!—that she’s also talking about Trump.
In a statement, the Trump Organization decried the deposition as politically motivated, calling it “another political witch-hunt” and saying, “The only focus of the New York AG is to investigate Trump, all for her own political ambitions…. This political prosecution is illegal, unethical and is a travesty to our great state and legal system.
