The Wakanda Forever soundtrack got Rihanna off the bench with support from a string of local talents, which include DBN Gogo, Young Stunna, Kamo Mphela, Sino Msolo and Busiswa
This is a momentous achievement, despite their efforts being borrowed by a film that will end up being as underwhelming and as exploitive of black culture as the first. The first soundtrack did give us some heat, such as the still-banging King’s Dead by Jay Rock, Future and Kendrick Lamar.
Just so long as everyone’s offerings are stronger than the Babes Wodumo record on the first soundtrack, which was a complete letdown and could have marked the beginning of a downward turn in her career.
