At the altuzarrastudio show in Paris, sculptural hair and dual-colored metallic ombré wings sparked the imagination.
On a rainy Parisian afternoon, the Hotel Salomon De Rothschild provided a grand respite for showgoers at today's Altuzzara’s Fall 2020 show. For one, there were the mansion's dreamy French interiors, complete with crystal chandeliers, gilded ceilings, and stained glass windows. Then there were the clothes: shawl-collar suiting, chambray skirt sets, and asymmetrical, slit-to-there knit dresses amidst other covetable creations.
"There is a certain fantasy," explained makeup artist Tom Pecheux backstage. "I wanted to create something that was bourgeois—and a bit little crazy." After grooming brows, the pro applied a lightweight foundation and concealer as needed for fresh matte skin, then painted the mouth a gorgeous soft peach.
