Many high-traffic roads are going to be affected due to the Midnight Sun Run.
FAIRBANKS, Alaska - On Saturday, drivers are asked to be aware of the changing road conditions surrounding the Midnight Sun Run.In advance of that time, two roads on campus will be affected. Tanana Loop will be blocked off for vehicle traffic between Thompson Drive and the intersection of South Chandalar Drive near the Lola Tilly Commons from 8 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.All lanes of Geist Road will be closed at Loftus Road and Thompson Drive.
All traffic is delayed at University Ave. and Geist Road intersection and one northbound lane at University Ave will also be closed to traffic. Geraghty Avenue and Marlin Street will be closed from University Ave to the Airport Way access road past Park Avenue.For more information on the road closures and the midnight sun run can be found
