Former Attorney General Bill Barr urges officials to stop the Mexican cartels following the kidnapping of four Americans on “The Story with Martha MacCallum.”

The cartels are in charge and second, the Mexican government allows them to operate from these safe havens and pump poisonous drugs up into the United States that are doing massive damage to our people and our economy, and it's not going to stop unless we destroy these organizations.

The Mexican government doesn't have the will or the means to do it, and they are perfectly willing to coexist with these groups. And the gestures they make – they'll make some gestures in this case, they'll throw us a few bones in this particular case, but it's a kabuki dance.
