The Lizzie McGuire Reboot Has Paused Production in Order to Go Into a 'Different Creative Direction'
."After filming two episodes, we concluded that we need to move in a different creative direction and are putting a new lens on the show."part of the new direction includes showrunner and creator Terri Minsky leaving the series. Minksy still hasn't posted about the news of her leave, but this means that Disney will have to find another showrunner. This also means that Disney will possibly reshoot the first two episodes before continuing production.
There's no word on who is set to replace her and what Disney has in store for the show, but this certainly not good news for fans who were excited to see Lizzie back on their screens.
