The safety of tourists using the Kruger National Park's Numbi Gate has come under the microscope following the murder of a German traveller.
, particularly at Numbi Gate, and added that"tourism monitors" trained by the police and under the stewardship of SANParks were active in the area.
"I am informed that there is a very unhappy community around the Numbi Gate, and the issue is around land … it's land claimants, and there is constant instability in that area," said Sisulu.
