Celtic fans hailed the performance of their side in the Champions League classic with Atletico Madrid. But it would appear those who called the Hotline have had enough of the Green Brigade.
Henry Moffat, Stirling, said: "So proud of Celtic and this team under Brendan Rodgers just gets stronger and stronger. I watched that Atletico team totally dismantle Real Madrid a couple of weeks ago and we went toe to toe with them throughout. This year may have come too early, but next year with over £100m in the bank, this manager can do some serious damage in Europe."
Onto the Green Brigade's tifo and flying of Palestinian flags and John Bruce emailed: "After a decent first half, Celtic managed to hang on for their first Champions League group point against a 10-man Atletico side. This achievement was marred, yet again, by another of their fans' shameful flag displays, which is sure to cost the club at least a heavy UEFA fine – again – as well as the disgust of much of the continent, as the game was broadcast around Europe.
Paddy Gowans emailed: "The Green Brigade is going over the top. Close their season tickets and give them to Celtic supporters who go to see the football. Politics has no place in football."
