Kids can get in touch with their inquisitive side at this informative and fun museum

It can be tricky keeping the kids busy during the October half term, especially when the weather turns and outdoor activities are out of the question. But if you’re looking for something to do with your little ones on a rainy day you do have options.

From October 21 to November 5, the museum has let community groups and neighbours from across Manchester take over its galleries, creating fun interactive exhibitions. Kids can have the chance to reimagine the future of their local high street with a large pop-up installation of Openshaw.
