The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air reboot gets a two season streaming deal
Will Smith confirmed the news that a Fresh Prince reboot is on the way.has been given a two-season order from the streaming service Peacock.reboot is happening, and it's going to be nothing like the popular 90s sitcom.by Morgan Cooper was first reported. The drama will examine inner conflict, what it means to be a Black man in America and also deliver swagger and nods to the original show.
Speaking to writer/director Morgan Cooper and writer/executive producer Chris Collins in a video call Will said:"We have just officially closed the deal with Peacock with an unprecedented two-season order from a pitch. The reunion show will feature the original cast Alfonso Ribeiro, Tatyana Ali, Karyn Parsons, Joseph Marcell, Daphne Maxwell Reid and DJ Jazzy Jeff and also Janet Hubert.
