The first Modern Warfare 2 free multiplayer trial launches today. Players can sample several modes and maps free of charge until December 19
Providing access to a limited portion of the game’s multiplayer offering, the free access period will begin on December 15 at 10am PT / 1pm ET / 6pm GMT and run until the same time on December 19.
During this period users will be able to compete in Team Deathmatch, Hardpoint, Domination and Kill Confirmed modes, including the third-person variants of each.These modes will be playable on three maps. Farm 18 and El Asilo, which launched with the game, are medium-sized maps focused on a large central building. Shipment, which was released on Wednesday as part of Modern Warfare 2’s Season 1 Reloaded update, offers a nautical take on the classic map by relocating it from land to a cargo ship.
