The Elder Scrolls 6 will not launch on PlayStation consoles according to Microsoft court documents, and it is still in early development.
According to testimony from Xbox head Phil Spencer, The Elder Scrolls 6 will be in development for another five years with a “2026 or later” release date scheduled. The game itself was announced five years ago when fans were told that it was in pre-production. In the meanwhile Bethesda Game Studios was hard at work with Starfield.
Now that Starfield is out, it seems Bethesda could switch to hands-on development of the next Elder Scrolls, which will not feature cross-platform play and only be release on Xbox consoles and PC.
