The U.S. economy slowed down a bit, the GDP report is expected to show

The U.S. economy is likely to show a slower pace of growth for the spring when the government on Friday hands out its report card, but the devil is always in the details.

One caveat: The government will revise GDP going back to 2014. Sometimes that results in big changes to quarterly or annual growth figures. Executives fret about ongoing U.S. trade tensions with China and a weakening global economy that’s hurt exporters and manufacturers.
