Nominees, celebrities and locals gathered at the third annual DSTV content creator awards to witness creators being recognised for their content and the winners claiming their awards.
A doting husband, Sifo The Cooking Husband, who has grown a significant following on social media for helping his wife in the kitchen while creating content, has bagged the DSTV Content Creator of the Year award.
“The cooking husband is a movement that just encourages us guys to get active in the kitchen, help our partners out, eliminate the abuse and build a love language,” he said while accepting the award.On Saturday, scores converged in Sandton for the DSTV Content Creator Awards as viral creators, influencers and some of South Africa’s beloved local celebrities came together under one roof at the Nelson Mandela square.
There was a purple carpet where one of this year’s event partners, radio station 974 had interviews with celebrities in attendance and some of the nominees.
