After this, KD leaves Mayhew's apartment to go to work as the radio plays in the background. Heard on the radio is "Crimson and Clover", the 1960s song by Tommy James & The Shondells, with the song's lyrics selling the relationship between the two Continental characters.
"Roundabout" by Yes - As Winston pulls up in Chinatown, another iconic, early 1970s song is played. "Roundabout" by Yes accompanies Winston's journey out of his car and into the dojo. The song fades out shortly after Winston begins speaking to Lou.
