“I thought it had been harsh to leave him out,” Dyche said. “He’s done very well and I like his style of game, his general play and his adaptability. He takes it on and we moved him inside and he was working hard for the team. He clips it in for the first and wins it back and plays it through for the goal. He deserves that because his work ethic is outstanding.”
“Today, you saw the intensity of our work. We got after the ball but stayed in a good shape because they’re a team that plays out from the back but likes to get the ball forward quite quickly, so you have to be careful pressing them.”
