At the end of Dark Nights: Death Metal, Wonder Woman was taken off the table, as she was whisked through various planes of existence, before returning home. In her absence, her mother Hippolyta joined a reformed Justice League. In Justice League #67, writer Brian Michael Bendis shook up the classic League formula by mixing in stalwarts with newcomers—such as Hippolyta .
The Green Lanterns Are Betrayed By One Of The Guardians. The Green Lantern Corps have been decimated from within before—witness Hal Jordan’s actions in the controversial Emerald Twilight story. Even so, the idea that one of the Guardians of the Universe, who oversee the Corps, would betray them is astounding, but that is exactly what happened.At the dawn of Infinite Frontier, Oa applied for membership in the United Planets, a move that would have brought the Corps under the UP’s jurisdiction.
Wally West Was Not Responsible For The Sanctuary Murders. Since his return to the DC Universe in Rebirth #1, Wally West has not had an easy go at things. He was deleted from existence, only to return to a world that had moved on without him. Perhaps Wally’s darkest moment came in 2018’s Heroes in Crisis miniseries, which saw Wally lose control of the Speed Force, killing several heroes, including his friend Arsenal .
