Enjoy a sneak peek at 'Dusty's Lecture,' a track from TheBigDoorPrize Season 1— AppleTVPlus Original Series Soundtrack, exclusively at Screen Rant:
The Big Door Prize is a new high-concept comedy that has already garnered favorable reviews since its premiere on March 29. The conceit of the show, that there is a mysterious machine that tells users their life’s potential, is a jumping-off point for a humorous and thought-provoking character study centered around Chris O’Dowd’s Dusty and a fantastic supporting cast. The 10-episode series was adapted from M.O. Walsh’s novel of the same name and developed by David West Read.
Nick Sena: It’s kind of the score Zach and I have been looking to write. Simple - room for a few odd instruments like the musical saw and theremin - our usual palette of piano, bass and synths - and a mystery element The show is quaint ya know it just takes place in this small town but then you have each of the characters going through these massive life changes. It gave us the ability to play like a small band, but to sound big by tapping into what these life shifts would sound like.
