From Booksmart to Fleabag, jumpsuits are having a moment and we're here for it
There was a point last year when I became obsessed with uniform dressing — of wearing the same outfit every day by choice. I was convinced that if I could find just one cute and affordable coverall-style jumpsuit , I would be able to streamline my morning routine, minimize mundane decision-making, and never have to worry about looking professional ever again. But finding that perfect jumpsuit was more of a challenge than I’d anticipated.
In the year I’ve owned it, I’ve found the poplin fabric breathable and friendly for all seasons. In the summer, I’ll cuff the ankle and sleeves, tie a bandanna or silk scarf around my neck, and finish with a practical pair of Birkenstocks, or a pair of chunky wooden heels. In the winter, I swap out the sandals for colorful ankle boots; and in those transitional months, I’ll wear it with a pair of white sneakers.
