With the official fireworks called off in Glasgow for another year, we thought we'd look at some of the best alternatives taking place around the city.
With bonfire night fast approaching, it's always a scramble to find somewhere for the kids to get their fireworks kicks. While back garden displays have lost their appeal in recent years, sadly Glasgow isn't having an official display again this year.
So, to help, we've pulled together a selection of the best events to look forward to around November 5. And here is all you need to know to make sure you have a fabulous time. Running from 11 am and finishing at 10 pm, the festival will include live music, a panto, live wrestling and even an on-site funfair, as well as a top fireworks display.
