Disney's new Beatles documentary hits screens today
Ringo Starr said 'go to Liverpool' as he drew a comparison between Scousers and New Yorkers in a new Disney documentary about The Beatles . 'Beatles '64' is released on Disney+ today, charting the band's all-conquering arrival in the United States in February 1964. Produced by Martin Scorsese and directed by David Tedeschi, the new film combines archive footage and new interviews to capture the spread of Beatlemania across the United States.

At the US premiere for this new film, the 'Raging Bull' and 'Goodfellas', he said the artistry of The Beatles inspires him to keep working in his ninth decade .
