Another DC Universe rumor has been dispelled by James Gunn. This time, the rumor involved a spin-off of Matt Reeves' The Batman.
is being written by Matt Reeves and Mattson Tomlin.
It will feature Robert Pattinson and Andy Serkis returning as Bruce Wayne/Batman and Alfred Pennyworth, respectively. The superhero sequel is set to release on October 3, 2025, and will remain a DC Elseworlds movie — a film that is separate from the main DC Universe continuity.
