Former winner of The Apprentice Michelle Dewberry has been blasted for her comments over the NHS strikes.
She then added: ‘How any nurse could walk away from those units/wards, to go on strike, is simply beyond me. I find it utterly heart-breaking and I will be honest, wrong.’However, her statement saw an influx of responses from people who challenged her sentiments.
‘The nurses on both occasions showed amazing compassion and were our strength in some dire times. They deserve everything they’re asking for.’ She also added that both her mum and sister are NHS nurses, but that she also believed demands of a 20% pay rise were ‘ridiculous’.
