It's one of Greater Manchester's most popular parks
We all know how much the school holidays cost and when families are already struggling, it can be hard to keep the kids entertained.The 18-hole course is at Haigh Woodland Park, in Wigan.
It offers something the whole family can enjoy and lets you play through the dinosaur, past the lighthouse, under Humpty Dumpty and around Captain Jack Sparrow. The free adventure playground is another highlight, with climbing, a treehouse and interactive play features. Families tell us they like it because there is something for all ages, with climbing frames and ropes to challenge the older ones, and smaller equipment such as swings and seesaws for younger ones.
The park is also home to a separate Adventure Golf course, footgolf, a trim trail and not one but two railways for families to enjoy a train ride.
