Rangers general manager Chris Young says that the ace is getting the surgery to repair a tear in his ulnar collateral ligament.On Monday, the team moved their Opening Day starter from the 15-day injured list to the 60-day injured list to add Spencer Howard to the roster.In his final outing of the season he went 3.2 innings against the New York Yankees on April 28.He hasn't pitched more than 100 innings in a season since 2019.
