TCU, Texas move up in Associated Press football poll
TCU football jumped five spots to No. 8 in this week's Associated Press Top 25 poll.
TCU has beat ranked opponents in three consecutive games for the first time in program history. Saturday's 43-40 double-overtime win over No. 8 Oklahoma State followed a 38-31 victory at No. 19 Kansas and a 55-24 win over No. 18 Oklahoma. The Longhorns have won three straight games after dropping their Big 12 opener to Texas Tech back in Week 4. Since that overtime loss in Lubbock, they’ve rattled off wins over West Virginia, Oklahoma and Iowa State to climb near the top of the conference standings.
