Texas star QB Quinn Ewers's status for the Longhorns' next game has been revealed.
Texas Longhorns star quarterback Quinn Ewers suffered an abdominal injury this past weekend against the University of Texas, San Antonio, leaving the game early. There was some thought that his injury may bring devastating results but it was deemed a 'week to week' injury, with no timetable for his return.
If Ewers can't go this weekend, backup Arch Manning would get his chance to start for Texas. Manning came in for Ewers this weekend after he got hurt and provided an instant spark to the offensive attack.He threw for 223 yards with four touchdowns through the air. Manning also rushed for 53 yards and one score on the ground.His dual-threat ability makes Manning a different type of quarterback than Ewers, giving the Texas offense another gear.
