As the stolen truck entered Atascosa County, the Atascosa County Sheriff's Deputies positioned themselves to deploy spike strips to end the pursuit before entering areas with heavy traffic. After scouring nearby rural properties, multiple illegal aliens were apprehended and turned over to Border Patrol. A search remains ongoing near Luka and Brown Roads north of TX 173.
