Bussey plays all over the field for Timpson, seeing time at both quarterback and wide receiver on offense and in the secondary on defense.
He is the fifth top-100 prospect in A&M’s 2024 class, joining wide receivers Cam Coleman and Drelon Miller and defensive linemen Dominick McKinley and Dealyn Evans.Texas A&M gets one of the best all-around athletes in Texas. Bussey participates in four sports — football, basketball, baseball and track — and helped Timpson football to the Class 2A semifinals last season. On the gridiron, he rarely comes off the field, playing offense, defense and special teams.
Bussey is explosive and skilled enough to excel in the defensive backfield or at receiver at the next level. He also should be an immediate impact return specialist.Adding Bussey continues a strong run the Aggies are having in the 2024 recruiting cycle. It’s a big win over both current and future SEC schools who were finalists for Bussey’s commitment. The Aggies are also adding a lot of speed in this class.
