CHANNELVIEW, Texas — A 17-year-old boy shot and killed two masked, armed men after they tried to force their way into his home Friday in this Houston suburb, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.
A third home invader managed to get away and drove off, Sheriff Ed Gonzalez says in a news release. The two men shot by the teen, who was armed with a shotgun, were pronounced dead at the scene. There was a woman, a 12-year-old boy and another 17-year-old male in the home when the incident occurred at about 10:30 p.m. Friday. There were no other reported injuries.
The shooting remains under investigation and the sheriff’s office says the case will be presented to a grand jury.Note to readers: if you purchase something through one of our affiliate links we may earn a commission.
