Tesla participated in the 20th Future Day held in Brandenburg and was one of 405 businesses encouraging school children to visit and learn about working. Although a total of 4,300 schoolchildren took the opportunity, Tesla only invited girls and this was most likely due to the usual stereotypes.
One 14-year-old schoolgirl, Serafine Fischer, has a desire to work in the arts and Tesla could be the place where she could gain experience. “There are also creative designer areas here. I could definitely imagine doing an internship here and taking a closer look at everything,”As an artist who never went to college, I would not think of Tesla or any other automaker as a place to work in the arts — especially 20 years ago when I was just planning to graduate high school.
