Some may contain pieces of blue cloth, plastic or metal or have ingredients which are not mentioned on the label
Tetailers, including Tesco , Asda and Waitrose have all issued recall warnings over label inaccuracies or the possible presence of either pieces of blue cloth, plastic or metal. The Food Standards Agency said some of the products contain ingredients, such as wheat, that are not mentioned on the label.
The FSA said: "If you have bought the above product do not eat it. Instead, return the product to your local Waitrose branch for a refund. Any customers with queries or concerns can contact the Waitrose careline team for further guidance on 0800 188 884 Option 4." The FSA said: "If you have bought the above product and have coeliac disease, and/or an allergy or intolerance to wheat or gluten, do not eat it. Instead return it to the store from where it was purchased for a full refund. For more information contact us on 0121 327 6618 or email [email protected]"
