“It definitely didn’t cross my mind and I’m pretty sure it didn’t cross the minds of many others because it was so unusual, and we hadn’t experienced such as devastating weather event in the past,” said Sohi.The tornado ingrained itself in Edmonton’s history and led to a major overhaul of early warning systems.
