Tennis SA is on the cusp of signing an agreement with the Rafa Nadal Academy for its players to set up camp at the facility when touring Europe
Although the deal hasn’t been signed yet, the TSA board has given the go-ahead for it to be concluded as soon as Covid-19 coronavirus restrictions permit.
While only sanctioned a few weeks ago, the agreement has been a long time coming, with negotiations taking place with the world number two’s representative Carlos Costa earlier this year, around the time of the Match in Africa exhibition match between Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer in Cape Town earlier this year.exclusive journalism and features
