A Glasgow tennis club is using the power of sport for the greater good this week 🎾

Drumchapel Tennis Club will be hosting a charity tennis tournament on Sunday, January 29 to raise funds and stock for Drumchapel Foodbank.

Glynis McNeil, part of the Drumchapel Tennis Club social committee, said:"We thought we would put this on to help out our local foodbank. "We just think with the current climate, people are really struggling and we just felt we could do this.The tournament will kick off at 12pm and will see four games of mixed doubles.Members of the club will be playing, and non-members are also invited to join to participate.She said:"Not everyone can afford to donate, but even if people can give a couple of tins it will all help."
