Man United play Spurs in the Premier League on Saturday and Erik ten Hag explained his team selection for the game.
Harry Maguire is absent from Manchester United's squad to play Tottenham on Saturday due to a small injury issue.
Maguire made just eight league starts last season and he's currently regarded as the fourth-choice centre-back at Old Trafford.The 30-year-old, who was stripped of the captaincy this summer, was an unused substitute against Wolves on the opening day of the season as Erik ten Hag replaced Lisandro Martinez with Victor Lindelof at half-time.
He spoke to MUTV ahead of Spurs and said: "We have to do better. We didn't perform well on Monday and I know they can do better, but nonetheless, they won the game. I think it's one of the aims [improved away results] for the season.
