A Temple University police officer was shot near campus Saturday night, sources tell FOX 29.
The shooting happened near 18th Street and Montgomery Avenue, just a few blocks from the university's campus. Sources tell FOX 29’s Steve Keeley the officer was shot in the head and that a Temple student was carjacked around the time of the incident. This is a developing story. Check back for updates.
