Emergency services were tasked to the scene
of a crash involving a young pedestrian in Co Down on Tuesday.
Police received a report of a single vehicle traffic collision in the Main Street area of Dundrum this morning. An 18-year-old girl was struck by a van, sustaining head and leg injuries.Read more: Two people stabbed at house A PSNI spokesperson told Belfast Live: "It was reported that an 18-year-old woman was struck by a van in the area. The woman was taken to hospital for treatment of injuries to her head and leg.
"A driver was cautioned at the scene. We would appeal to anyone who witnessed the incident or who may have dash-cam footage available to contact police on 101 quoting reference number 252 of 27/09/22."
